2011 DANCING IN THE STREETS SCHEDULE
Dancing in the Streets: Buckets & Tap Shoes Thursday, July 28 5pm Solaris, Vail Village
Buckets & Tap Shoes was created in the streets of downtown Minneapolis by Brothers Rick and Andy Ausland. The group has now evolved into a unique ensemble of musicians, percussionists and rhythm tap dancers who transfer the innovation and spontaneity of street performing to the stage. They have been awarded the Best of Fringe award and are an audience favorite at the Vail International Dance Festival.
"Utterly brilliant... they are virtuoso percussive players on, yes, buckets, and extraordinary tap dancers, as capable of channeling hip-hop as Astaire-like suavity."
